How do ye lads clean the chamber of your rifles? I use the rod on my .223 but I cant properly clean the chamber with it.

Cheap to buy, and very useful for cleaning and greasing hard to reach places ;)

I use the rod-loop-patch from both sides and find that I can get most everything out. Then, a clean it with a cloth using my fingers from the bolt side and magazine compartment, if there is one.

A smaller rod, such as one for a pistol cab help make life easier.

Try a .410 shotgun cleaning rod, they come in wood and work well.
