Dodgey placement matches.

    Anyone noticed some dodgey placements? Just did my 1v1 placement and thrashed the guy, now fair enough he was rubbish but i was beating plats last season and ended up being placed in bronze.

    The same thing happened in 2v2, towards the end of the last season i was favored against diamond teams and went about 15 games without a loss and beat a masters team without too much hassle but i was placed in gold :/

    Because everys points are way below their mmr, everyone is slightly favoured v everyone else, untill you reach your appropriate points.

    Also they arnt really placement matches, they are just "i am not inactive this season" matches because blizz dont want leagues full of players without any games played

    Once you get up to about 300 points you'll stop getting these fav - slightly fav matches. (well depends on your league it might take a bit longer if you are in the same league you were in last season it may take a bit longer)

    Was gold last season though and doing pretty decently, it just feels dodgey because i completely stomped the guy i played against yet they still placed me in bronze, unfortunately dced in 4 matches as well so i'l be there for a few days now probably, oh well i can have some fun i guess and try some mad tactics :P
