Fantasy QB Conundrum

    1.YOUTH

with so much depth at QB these days, who out of these guys would you rank highest as a no.2 QB for fantasy teams

Flacco, Sanchez, Fitzpatrick, Cassel, Bradford, Kolb and Stafford

i do accept that their are arguments to take some (if not all) as viable staring QB's, but if you were looking for strength on the bench or a good bye week fill in behind your Rodgers, Mannings, Bradys or Romo's, who would you want?

    2.Experience

rather than have a young upstart on the team, who out of these vets would you rather have under centre should your starter be crocked or have an unfavourable match up?

    Garrard, Young, McNabb, Hasselbeck, Orton

Perhaps you could rate em first to last selection and why

Well for starters, I'd be of the opinion that if Matt Stafford was your backup QB, then you've got an embarrassment of riches. The guys a legitimate starting fantasy QB, with arguably the best WR in the NFL, one of the best young TEs and a terrific pass catching RB behind him. Only worry is injuries imo.

Sam Bradford too, for the simple reason that Josh McDaniels is offensive coordinator. Wouldn't have any problem with him as a starter in a 14 or 16 team league.

After those 2, I'd order them as Flacco, Kolb, Sanchez, Cassell and Fitz but wouldn't be thrilled with any of them as a starter.

Of the vets you mentioned, only Hasselbeck and McNabb will be starters straight away, and both are pretty much past it. Wouldn't be surprised to see Locker and Ponder be starters come the run in, and Gabbert will probably get the nod in Jacksonville sooner rather than later. Hasselbeck would be best simply for the better supporting cast around him.

in one of my leagues i have brees and stafford and im over the moon!

i had fitzpatrick and cassel last year and they stood me well as palmer wasnt consistent enough

if you have britt or burleson then hasselbeck makes them all the more attractive

the jury for me is out on Kolb, but he has some great weapons in fitzgerald and heap. he could be the suprise package for the season

i do have a dilemma tho, flacco or sanchez?

Not too bad, seeing as I went 2nd, 1st, 1st and 2nd in the last 4 seasons.

It's a keeper league, so once you get gems like Rodgers (drafted before he became the Packers' starter) you hang on to them and build for the future.

Seems like a waste, why have Brady there now when you can trade him for upgrades at different positions
