Least Awful Cheap Netbook - Questions

Looking for a netbook for college (mainly downloading/reading lectures, word processing, and internet) as I'm sick of lugging around my heavy laptop. I'm hoping to find something second hand or new for roughly €200. I understand I'm not going to find anything fantastic for that money.

Did a bit of googling there and it seems like Asus is a good brand to go with...?

Am I right in thinking that Windows 7 starter is ****e? This lists Windows 7 Ultimate in the overview but then lists Starter in the spec - are they the same? Is it really worth my while avoiding W7 when I'm not gonna be using it for anything too taxing?

Any general advice would be appreciated, all the specs and technobabble are melting my brain and I'm not entirely sure what I should be looking for... Thanks

Was in Currys/PC World (Blanch) lately, and I seen an e-machines netbook for €179, 1GB Ram, 250GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 Starter, 3 cell battery and a webcam or there was an acer one, but was the exact same, but just differnet name for €199 (the shape and markings on both were both the exact same) it just had duel core. But that is the cheapest you are going to get, but havent seen to many cheap-er Netbook...... hope this help

The Samsung N-150 on here is a decent little netbook from when I last used one.

I suspect any of them might meet your needs and price range
