This is my car which in trying to sell.

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2392327?cid=2392327

I had it up on adverts, now I've put it on donedeal. Am I way off the mark looking for 1400? And before you ask, the mileage is legit. I have the garage jnvoice that backs up the mileage at 15000 miles.

Anyway, any tips for sale? What can I do to help get rid of this car?

Thanks in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Price seems fine and the ability to back up the mileage is great.

Photos are poor with a lot of glare with the result I could not make out the scratch/damage alluded to in the ad. I thought the car looked a little ' washed out ' - just my opinion of course.

Might be an idea to post a photo of the screen clearly showing the NCT and Tax discs and their expiry dates.

Other lads here would be in a far better position to advise you.

    Good luck !

I think €1400 is a bit ambitious for a 12 year old Fiesta even with the low mileage. I'd re-advertise it at €1100 and accept anything close to it. Looks like a nice little tidy car.

Appreciate the replies lads. Felt that the price was reasonable given the condition of the car relative to the asking prices of other cars if similar year - same spec with 100k miles etc but its probably optimistic and I accept that. Will take new photos of car and NCT and will get them up. Thanks again lads, any more suggestions ate welcome!

Pictures with a different background, the existing ones taken in the car park of a flat complex can imply the seller is like your man out of "Into the West". Wouldn't put me off personally but it doesn't help.

If it's not selling...whatever it is...unless it's a specialty item waiting for the right buyer who will pay a premium to secure it...it's priced too high

Can take a few weeks to sell any car though, people reckon if it's not gone in a few days it's priced too high, not so, that only means it's priced too high for a trader/dell boy type to snap up and sell on.
