just got the forms for bin charges waiver from fingal co.council. my wife has an invalidity pension from social protection and i am unemployed as of today.i cant get information from fingal on 2 items .firstly i am not claiming any welfare benifits, and dont know what paperwork to send them to prove im unemployed, and secondly is the waiver based on this years income?,the form says the sole income must be a dept social /family affairs pension and no one in the household pays income tax. i wont be paying tax now. any suggestions.

Phone them up and ask. On the face of it, you should qualify for a waiver. Explain the situation to them. Failing that contact the social welfare - you may qualify for a once off hardship payment.
Good luck, hope you return to the work place soon.

Fingal County Council have sold their waste collection service to Panda, who are now responsible for any waiver that may or may not apply.
