Filesonic.com just charged me.. after months.

    Hi Guys,

    This has me a bit miffed!

    A few months ago I signed up for a months access to Filesonic.com. I don't remember seeing anywhere that it was a recurring subscription. Anyway, I was cut off the following month so it obviously wasn't.

    I've just noticed that my credit card (via PayPal) was charged USD$9. Not then end of the world but I hate surprises like this.

    What gave them the right to charge me now.. And also, I haven't received any emails from them in months..

    I'm going to email PayPal and Filesonic now to get the payment reversed. I doubt Paypal will do a chargeback FileSonic appeared in my pre approved payments sections.. (Not that I added it).

    What do you guys think? Does this happen often?

    EDIT: According to Paypal my sub started on Feb 26th.. Chargin me now without any contact is definitely NOT on IMHO!

    Paypal will not investigate a claim on an intangible item such as this. Contact FS to see what is going on. They are the only ones that can tell you why. Since this is nothing to do with online buying or auctions, thread closed.
