Looking to upgrade my road bike. I'm about 5'5 so will need an x-small/small frame (I'm on a 48 inch at the min)

Options given to me so far are: http://www.rideblue.com/rd11.php, http://www.ktm-bikes.at/en/road/road/road-carbon/Stradalc4000_copy.php and I've also been thinking about a planet-x nanolight with dura-ace components.

I don't know anyone who has any of the above bikes so if anyone could give me a review or suggest another, it'd be great. Budget is about 2,500 (ouch), and that will have to include wheels.

Looking at a bike that I can do long miles on (half ironman races), and that steams up hills,

    Thanks!

Canyon Ultimate CF 8.0 for €1999. Only available directly from Canyon so you won't see them in shops. I have on in size 52 and I'm 5'7'' so size 50 could very well be suitable for you. There are other options available from them also within your price range but the one I've linked represents the best value for money IMHO.

Another option to consider is the Planet X Nanolight Red for £1799. There are other options available from them also which may be worth looking at.
