Similarity in Girls/Girlfriends/Ex's names

I realised a good while ago, that many of the girls I have liked, girlfriends I have had and girls that were an instant attraction to me, have all had names that started with the same letter. Last night was no exception.

There were others that did'nt of course, but of the 26 letters in the alphabet it just seems strange that I'd say minimum of 70% shared the same first initial.

Anyone else out there ever noticed this? (about yourselves/friends etc)

You just don't meet many Zoes, Queen Latifahs or X....er, names starting with an X. If you spend most of your life in one country, names are likely to be limited to a few common letters.

A lot of names do begin with the same letter. It's like saying a lot of people I've been attracted to have a vowel at the end of their name.

    What's the letter, OP?

OP you have way to much time on your hands if that the kind of thing youre pondering to yourself.

I've noticed this myself, all my previous gf's name begin with a P! Mere coincidence or....something more sinister :confused:

When you're limited to Pam and her sisters, that'll happen.

Yeah I realised that the other day, theres 3 A's in my past. Fairly funny really, im always a bit worried I'll say the wrong name

The similarity in their appearance - that I can understand. Like... all the ex-girlfriends have beautiful long red hair... but the names are coincidence. Or you are a name fetishist, which is also ok. :)))

My last 3 conquests have all had the same first name. I didn't think about it long enough to have the creeps over it. However I do avoid guys with another particular first name because it conjures up the horrors of someone I'd rather forget ;)

The only thing my ex's names have in common is that they are all male.

All my exes have the same name, i.e. B*TCH

At least theres less chance of shouting out the wrong name in bed.

Those are my exes in order (can't remember one of their names :o).

    2 x M
    2 X A
    2 X N

    MAN?

    Maybe I'm a closet homosexual.

Nope, no such trends with my ex boyfrieds. However my Dad kept calling my OH by my ex's name for months because their names start with the same letter.

I know of an ex of mine he had at least 10 girlfriends before he met me and he was my first and only boyfriend!

My ex's first 3 girlfriends all had the same name. No joke! Pretty weird coincidence. And I was one of them :D Except we all kinda shortened our name in different ways but still...pretty weird coincidence. Then he ruined it by dating a girl with a totally different name.

kinda was handy in the remembering the bday department

There seems to be something with me about the name Louise. I've known four women by that name in recent years, through no intervention of my own.

My last four girlfriends in order were named Pauline, Ursula, Sharon and Sinead. I now fancy a girl called Yvonne. Fate or what?

Same names, this is a great tactic. You can reuse old stuff lying around with ex's names on them and pass them off again and the best thing is that you can scream her name during those moments of passion without having to worry about screaming the wrong name.

Very vaguely, my girlfriend has the same name as my ex, except it's in Irish, which makes it pure coincidence.
