Various old parts for free

After removing these from my old MTB. All are in the region of 10-15 years old, condition should be clear enough from the photos. Apart from the forks, everything works, just might need a scrub with some steel wool to remove the rust.
I'll be throwing them in the bin or bringing them to Rothar or something if no-one takes them in the next 2 weeks.

Uno KAlloy bars. 585mm wide, probably less than 2,000km on them, I fitted them towards the end of the bike's use. You can see they've faded in the sun, would work fine for a respray.

    Shimano STX-RC Rapidfire shifters, 8-speed.

2 Pairs of shimano DX v-brakes.

Shimano STX-RC triple crankset. The taper on the left-hand crank is warped, so they creak like hell. Right-hand crank is actually fine, despite how it appears in the picture.

Marzocchi XCR forks. Good for spare parts I guess. I was also thinking you could make a truing stand out of the forks legs if you're into such things.

Deore LX front mech. Pretty sure it's a 28.6mm clamp.

Deore LX rear mech, long cage.

GT Platform pedals. They need servicing.

Edit: don't actually need crank+ rear mech for another few thousand km so will leave it

Hi, if pgd-pgd isn't taking everything I'd have the pedals and the front derailleur if it's bottom pull, it looks top pull in the pic but I can't be sure.

    Thanks

pgd-pgd, I'm based in Dublin. I'm presuming you don't want the forks too.

Hi Seamus. Thanks for the reply. I'm in North Co. Dublin myself. Just wondering what part of Dublin are you in . I don't want to mess you about sayin I'll take them if I can't get over to you. Don't need the forks .
    Thanks again,
    Paul.

    Hi Paul,

I'm in south Dublin - Firhouse/Knocklyon. But if you don't have a car I can arrange to meet you somewhere to drop them to you.

Hi Seamus . Not gonna be able to make it over that way , so you can pass them on to next in line. As I said I won't mess you about. Thanks for the offer to meet up ,greatly appreciated ,but i'm kinda tied up in work at the moment. Hope someone gets some use out those parts.
    Kind Regards,

    Paul.

    Hi Seamus,

I'm actually in the process of putting together a cheap MTB and so far have frame, forks, and one wheel. I'd be interested in taking all of these items aside from the forks and pedals. techie-electric is looking for a bottom-pull front derailleur but it's a top-pull that I need. I'm happy to travel to pick up the parts.

    Hey Ant,

bcmf has first call on the shifters and front mech for the moment.

    It's definitely a top-pull.

Yep Seamus I will take shifters and FD off ya. Give us a shout when you have them stripped. Am in no crazy rush for them.

Cool. Hadn't been watching the other thread. Like bcmf, I'm not in any hurry to get the parts as I need to get a rear wheel first.

Hey if any of these are still available I'd jump on them. Shifters/brakes, derailleurs and pedals would be of use!

If no one takes the cranks, I'd happily take them off you for a beater I am building up for my OH brother

Yeah sorry guys I've been very slow to go down and get these. Should be down with the oldies this weekend, so I'll pck them up then and distribute them.

Since I last posted, I located a pair of flat handlebars so I'd like to amend my request and let the bars go to someone who needs them.

Hi Seamus, do you still have any of this? If you do I live nearby and won't waste your time (or parts)

I'll have whatever you don't get a home for. I have a hardtail frame which needs everything!

Is cramcylce (or anyone else for that matter) taking the cranks? Because I'll take them off you if no one else does. Would also like to be second or third or whatever in line for the pedals and brakes if donal and ant don't take them.
