Sorry if this has been done before. I'll kick things off with two oldies.

Breaking Away. 1979 Directed by Peter Yates.

Fanciful movie about an American dreaming of beating Europeans in cycling (Imagine...)

Quicksilver. 1986 Directed by Thomas Michael Donnelly.

Kevin Bacon plays a ruined stock broker turned cycle courier.

    The flying Scotsman
Based on a remarkable true story, The Flying Scotsman is a heart-warming and compelling film which follows the turbulent life of cyclist Graeme Obree, who, as an unemployed amateur, broke the World One Hour record on a bike of his own revolutionary design, constructed out of scrap metal and old washing machine parts.

Is that American Flyers RobFowl? I remember that one, but I never new about or copped the cameo, nice one. Another movie about American's dominating the world of cycling... Next the Aussies will be at it.

I'd sort of include ET on the list, good bike chase scene.
