Is David Norris the political equivalent of a troll?

I know that we are all here because we love to chew the cud.

However, I doubt I am alone in finding David Norris's soap-operatic and seemingly without-end desire to be in the headlines or the subject of every phone-in tiresome.

I am not sure that he expects, or ever expected, to become President.

What I do know is that he loves the sound of his own voice.

Is he the first example of a political troll, or have there been others in the past?

We already have threads on Norris. We have someone claiming to be Norris in the politics forum. We'll leave it at that.
