    Hello-

Does anyone know off chance (before I call on Tues) is the admissions office currently open? I was granted my fees being paid and need to submit the letter so that they can bill the county council. I did this last year and it took 6 months for the fees to be paid which held up my BTEA grant a bit.

If anyone knows if they are open and taking these letters, can you please let me know? Thanks!

last year i was told i must wait until i was officially registered with the college before i could do this.

you get a letter from the btea and you must get this signed and stamped by the college when your registered (after you register in september) then you have to bring this letter back to btea people.

i think you get the letter from btea or else its from the vec i forget. unfortunatly there is no way of making this faster. if anyone else does know of a way please let us know.

last year i was told i could get a letter from the college saying im temp. registered. the college told me that they cant do that.

    I wish I had a grant :(

One person in my course after Christmas this year didn't even go into college. Around March he posted a status on Facebook saying: "ugh, will my fúcking Grant ever get here. Dying to go out on the piss"

That shít pissed me off. . . .

    Speaking of fees,

Does everyone now pay 2000 euro registration or is that only for 1st years? and 1500 for us? :D
