Was just wondering after a bit of research, is there any way to get an adapter or threaded barrel for these pistols:confused: would really like a nice silencer on it with something on the underail (lamp/laser)!

    Thanks folks!!:)

The PT99 is made by a company called KWC, whereas KJW make the PT92 (as do WE). Which one is the one you have? KJW PT92 (safety on the slide rather than frame, semi-auto only), KWC PT99 (safety on the frame, semi & full auto, and semi-only versions available), or WE PT92 (silver/chrome, semi auto only, safety on the slide).

If you have the KJW, you can get a Marui-compatible threaded outer barrel. If you have the WE one, you can get a threaded adapter. Whereas if you have the KWC PT99, then as far as I know a marui-compatible M9 outerbarrel will work, but may need some modifying.

So doing a bit of looking about here now to see where to get the parts and what modifications would be needed? Have you seen one of these pistols silenced before? Thanks again for the reply :)

I haven't seen one silenced before, no.

The KJW threaded outer barrel 'should' fit. They're both M9-style pistols, and should have some degree of cross compatibility. The two barrel assemblies look identical, so it'd be worth a punt to pick up a threaded outer barrel. I think guarder do a cheap enough one.

In the way of modification, you basically just look at your original barrel, and look at the new barrel - then change whatever is different. It may need filing, it may need buffing out etc - the only way you'll know is if someone has tried and posts, or by taking the risk yourself. Either way, be sure to post back on how you get on.

ALTERNATE ROUTE: You could modify the existing barrel, and press or glue an adapter on. This is, however, permanent, and means if it goes arseways, then your pistol won't exactly function. This is why I prefer to modify parts, so that I still have the originals to fall back on

Thanks for the reply again was just wondering what places you'd reccomend getting parts from im in the north here (derry) and id assume buying parts wouldnt breach any laws or would it? best sites ive seen yet are in the states but do u get fooked over on import tax?

Thought id add a pic of the outer barrel also see it has a little extra notch that im not spotting on other outer barrels, turning into quite the project lol

That notch is part of the hop up mech attached to your inner barrel. The outer barrel is literally just a thin piece of metal, that your hop up + inner barrel sit into.

Your best bet for specialist parts are the asian retailers, because they are close to the manufacturers and can get their hands on parts more easily
