Child benefit and carer's allowance

    Hi, I'm just wondering about the following. I am currently on carer's allowance for two relatives. What happens If I have a child and get child benefit, is my carer's halved? thanks

    Child benefits wouldnt effect your carers payment.

    no, not one parent allowance, If getting carer's allowance am wondering when getting children's allowance will the carer's allowance be halved or something. thanks

    No, being in receipt of Child Benefit doesnt affect your entitlement to Carers Allowance in any way.
