    Glad to hear that - so it's not just me then! Last time there was an outage they fixed it pretty quickly. Thank God for iPhone4 & Personal Hotspot.

    I'm in swords too, it's working on some sites (barely) but it's pretty messed up atm. :(

    Same issue here in Dublin 13. I guess they have a network wide routing issue or something. I can get it working grand by going via my UK vps proxy server. So I guess some traffic is getting through grand.

    In D11, working for some sites slowly, wikipedia, facebook and here, but no sign of other sites yet.

    Dog slow for me since about 12pm today, was grand before that. D9/D11 area myself.

    Never thought I'd have to enable WiFi hotspot to hop onto the meteor 3g network in the house :P

    I hope they fix it soon. I'm in danger of doing housework at this rate.

    Can confirm down in Swords also, UPC voice message confirms problem. Strange thing is my router reset itself back to it's original settings, had to hunt down the old password for access.

    Sites working for me are rte, boards and hukd.ie

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,147 ✭✭✭CathalDublin

    Gone in Portmarnock although UPC said it isn't, but have the same problems there, can ping some sites but not others.
    Eg cant ping google.ie, apple.com
    Can ping RTE.ie, irepair.ie, etc

    @reg'stoy
    UPC routers have a tendency to do that when power cycled, my parents one does it regularly of their is a power cut or someone plugs it out by mistake

    Looks like connectivity out of .ie is b0rked. Ie sites slow to load cos of ads/pics etc hosted outside ie.

    My connection dropped at about 11pm on Friday, came back up at about 1pm Saturday, it did the exact same thing last night too.

    I'm in Lucan by the way.
