im 21 male and i met a 25 year old girl the other night got her number and be texting her the last few days but is the age gap to much. If it was the older male and younger girl than it would be normal in society imo

Op, there is nothing wrong with slight age difference! If you both get on and there's a chance of there being something between you both, dont worry! It's only 4 years! Not a massive gap!

Its all in your head, if you are happy with this person go for it, I was only talking to someone today about this. She is eight years older than her fella and didnt want to get with him cause he was younger, but he treats her better than anyone else she has gone out with.

Go for it, if she makes you happy there is nothing stopping you only yourself!

A 4 year gap in a relationship is nothing. You are both adults OP, if you like her and she likes you then go for it. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

At 21 and 25, you are not an "older woman" and a "younger man". Age is not an issue here, unless either of you make it so, which would be for no good reason, according to your post.

The only time I've had an issue with age has been down to where the two of us were in life. But there's a chance you can have that with somebody your own age if you want different things, I guess it's just more common if there's an age difference e.g. if you want to go travelling or you are in college and she's done all that. But no harm in trying..

If you like her, you like her - it seems silly to worry about whether to be with her because of... well, no reason really.

As a guy I prefer dating women older than me. Much easier to get on with compared to women my own age, I'm 23 btw. Older women seem to be more appreciative etc. Don't want to offend women my age btw, just the way I feel in general.

To be honest OP, I'm not sure you are mature enough to date her if you can't get over that she is older, or what "society" will think. It's not a big gap by any manner of means.
