    Morning :)
Have a problem with my laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. The machine starts up, i can hear the motor whirring, but windows doesn't start automatically unless hit Enter or Escape twice - THEN it starts up and I'm prompted for my password. This is a home PC, not a work PC. After that it's all fine
Just wondering why the OS doesn't start automatically ? I ran some diagnostics and all seems fine - it's puzzling
    Cheers

have you tried pressing F8 to get the safe mode menu ?

    Cheers mate
It doesn't say anything - the screen is dark. Then I hit Enter, there's a cursor in the top LHS, hit Enter again and Windows starts up.
    Very puzzling
Haven't tried F8 but will do now and post an update
