FYI

I recall discussions on here about blocking views of peoples homes/motors on street view. I had requested that mine be removed and it was actioned to my satisfaction.

However, it appears they've loaded more recent images and for me at least they haven't implemeted the blocking in the new images.

Pita. Looks like they'll only blur the image on request as opposed to block/black.

Good to know they only blur rather than remove the image now, will provide a much better experience. They legally dont have to do anything, it is a public image that anyone can legally view, take a picture off and print or post on line if they want.

How do you do that? Irritates the hell out of me to see a UK reg car clearly not owned by a UK resident on holiday here. If there's a number to call I'm all ears.

A house I could understand.

But how could they keep a car out , given it would move every time the new images are taken.

There is a website where people spot this and then they all go and take hundreds of pictures of the house and post them on the web themselves, just for kicks.
I cant remember what it is though.

That kind of thing really annoys me, what could they possibly have to hide, everyone passing can see the house anyway.
If everyone did that street view would be useless, and I find it quite useful at times.

You can see the back garden etc by zooming out anyway!

what type of car is this? always in the same spot on the way up to dublin. seems like it was there for years. its the sligo side of Ballinilack co. westmeath

Looks like a Nova, a kit car based on a beetle chassis and running gear.
