Hi, just wanting to know how strict are they on bringing camera's in. Or if so how strict are they on taking pictures away from play with zoom.

The official line is no cameras allowed but you will see loads of people with them. Don't take a pic when a player is taking a shot and you should be fine but you might not get passed the gate if your bags are checked!!!

Those people with the press style cameras (the big fancy ones) really get on my nerves. It feels like that they don't think the camera rules apply to them because they brought a fancy camera. If you're outside the ropes you shouldn't be taking pictures

    Hi
Been marshalling there for the last 3 days and everyone has a camera be it phone or the real thing.
Be smart with it and you'll get as many pics as you want ie if its a phone youve got, turn off the sound setting in the camera menu. Alot of caddies giving out to spectators over this.

    Enjoy the day.

I took a few photo's with my phone. Only time people were warned was when Rory was on the tee box.

Like was mentioned above, if you're clever about it, it's not a problem. Only heard one or two warnings about it all day. David Dixon did have to back off his shot on account of a vomitting baby though. :D
