Luas Red Cow to Barrow Street - best way by public transport?

I have a meeting in Barrow St next week. I was going to get the LUAS into Connolly and then a DART from there. What station is closest to Barrow St? Or would I be better off getting a bus from O'Connell St to Barrow St? If so, what route number?

Grand Canal is on Barrow st. So get the Dart

Grand Canal is the nearest DART station. If you wanted to get a bus from O'Connell Street you can get the 2 or the 3, or from Townsend Street the 77, 77A, 50 and the 56A.

Don't bother with a DART or taxi, just take the Luas to Spencer Dock, and it's a short walk across the river.

Mayor Square might be a better alighting station to avoid doubling back to get across the river.
