Honda CRX wheel cylinder

Thought i'd throw this up for me brother while i'm logged in. He's just gotten a crx with a badly leaking rear wheel cylinder. We have searched high and low and the dealers were quoting us 80 quid..... It's a 19mm bore cylinder for a 1990 model. It's a dual carb 1.5 which seems to be giving us the most bother as it's a jap import. Does anyone know where we can source one. The thing is i've looked at ones for the earlier and later models and it says they're 19mm bore also and seem to have the same mounting holes but we are told they won't fit. Help!

It's basically a Civic I think. Have you tried a cylinder from a similar specced Jap import Civic from that year ? May be worth a shot ?

Any decent motorfactors supplying blueprint parts should have the listing.

Blueprint numbers are ADH24404(rhs) and ADH24405(lhs) or have you tried those already?

We just tried another motorfactors there and gave them the number above. They reckon they can get it so here's hoping. Can't order til tuesday though as they need deposit and bank holiday and all of that so we'll see then. Thanks

Just get the part for a 89-91 1.4 Irish /UK spec civic...(It's the same)
I used to run a 1.5 dual carb jap import civic myself, many years ago ..

All the 1.6 DOHC Crx cars had rear disc brakes.
