    Hi guys

Was wondering if anyone here could help me out.

Story is, I'm 23 (mature student) living away from home. I'm applying for the grant for 2011/2012.

Was wondering if anyone would know would I be better off applying as an independent person, or through my Dad's imcome? He qualifies for somewhere between 50%-75% of the grant.

    Thanks

    forgot to mention (duh):

    - i am going into my 3rd year. I failed 2nd year and had to repeat it (twice :P)

    - I was not in receipt of any grant or anything for past 2 years.

    - I did get the grant for my first 2 full time years in college

    - i have been in receipt of part time dole since may of this year, as I did not think I would be going back to college.

    When did you turn 23?
when did you move out of home?
Is this an undergrad course or postgrad course? If postgrad when did you graduate?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
