3 new hd channels coming

    UKTV have confirmed that they are to have 3 new hd channels on the sky platform these will be:

    Watch HD (October 2011)
    Dave HD (October 2011)
    Alibi HD (sometime in 2012)

    Can't say I ever watch much of the channels, but more HD channels can't be a bad thing. They are also bringing a lot of content such as Fawlty Towers, Top Gear, Dr. Who, etc. to Anytime+. It would have been nice to see some of it reach Sky Go too.

    Edit: Sky also announced Disney HD, Animal Planet HD, TCM HD and Cartoon Network HD will be launched this year too.

    There was actually 6 HD channels anounced today.

    Animal Planet Hd.
    Disney Hd
    and TCM HD
