I am at the age that I get invited to the silver wedding celebrations of my friends and family.

Think of all the 18 birthdays/debs you go to when you are 18/19 as you get older its followed by

21 birthdays

Weddings

Christenings

40th Birthdays

silver weddings/seconds marriages

Your children's marriages.

Be nice to think I will be around to be invited to my siblings and friends Golden wedding party.

Then it will be the funerals :eek: of my family and friends or they will be coming to mine.

So what occasion/stage are you at.

I'm at the weddings stage.
Been to 11 weddings in the last 5 yrs, 2 wedding this year (one is my own) 2 next yr.

I have just completed the wedding stage... expensive feckin few years, would hate to think what I've spent on flights, stags, strippers, hotels and presents :eek:

I'm at no stage really....I'm 19 years old but have friends of all ages so I've been to 18ths, 21sts and 30ths this year and have 2 weddings coming up too.

Getting 21st invitations left right and centre these days, think ive been to over 20 so far this year.

In between 21st's and weddings but more so on the 21st side of things as none of my friends are in long term relationships... Then again, none of my friends are 21 or under.

I never went to a Debs, maybe like 3 18ths, 10 21sts or so, 3 weddings, one 30th, parent's pearl anniversary, few funerals.

Doesn't seem like that much really

Nothing major going on.

Finished 21sts. Not really into weddings yet, just one or two. Can't see too many more on the cards.

Have being to so many in recent years .Below is this year so far with another 18th coming up in late August .Every time you go to these functions there's always somebody invites you to another but cant and don't go to them all .

Honestly, you're not missing much. 21sts are great craic as you know, but you wouldn't want to be invited to too many of them. It's getting to the stage where I can't afford to go to all of them now
