Been meaning to flag this. Jaffa on the south quays just down from Q bar and near the Irish Naturalisation & Immigration Service on burgh quay has a sandwich, hot drink and crisps offer for a fiver. Most of their sandwiches apply, even the triple decker and all coffees also. The crisps are walkers! Quality

Londis on the corner of Grafton St and Stephens Green do by far the cheapest and best value chicken fillet baguette for 1.99.

Its like a conveyor belt at lunchtime and more bizarre in that Subway is upstairs with double and triple the prices.

Soup Dragon on Capel Street in D1 is doing a €5 lunch deal on Fridays

Fallon and Byrne do a €6 lunch deal, and The Counter have a brilliant burger for 9.95 too.

Also, was in a deadly spot on Moore Street recently Deli Dehli (excuse the awful name), and lunch for less than a fiver was brilliant.

Also Boojum do a good lunch deal, think it's any burrito and water for €7.

Have you seen these OP? GBK 2 for 1 and Dandelion 2 for 1 for eg.

Anyone any more good lunch deals?

i'm fairly sure they do and it is sit in also. Those 2e spar and centra rolls are muck compared to the sandwiches in jaffa!

Fot lunch sit-down it is hard to beat Da Vincenza's - Leeson St.
Their 5.50 chicken panino, philly beef ciabatta veg or salmon panini with tea/coffee are very hard to beat. The photo does not do them justice.
    Lovely setting and excellent food

But if €2 is your budget on the run, then forget the muck "roles" (sic)referred to above and try that very filling chicken fillet baguette from Londis.
