Hi
I am looking for data which I thought was simple but is turning out to be really annoying!!
I need quarterly ( but could settle for annual) data on GDP, broken into its main components, for 12 european countries.
I originally hoped to get thirty years of data.
I tried Eurostat and the OECD Quarterly National Accounts, but no luck on the time period or to be honest as you have to check off the components I am not sure what to include?

As you can see I am kinda confused about where to look or what to look for?
Would really really appreciate any help.

edit: oh right just saw 30 years part. I think you might have to look up each state individually, perhaps, through their respective national statistics.

Penn World Tables will give you annual components of GDP

I guess you're looking for data to compile the formula:

Y = C + I + G + NX
where
Y = GDP
C = Private consumption
I = Investment
G = Government expenditure
NX = Exports less imports

Penn world tables doesn't seem to include figures for NX though
