Looks like the same deals as on lidl-breaks.ie - the website functionality seems to be a clone..

The hotel isn't even in Blanchardstown. It's named similar to how Ryanair name airports.

What taxi do you get? I live around the corner and it costs 13-15eur for a taxi from the shopping centre!

It's less than 5 mins from blanchardstown main st. That's close enough and could not be further from your comparison to ryanair airports and their locations.

I'd say the taximen love you. 13 quid and you're around the corner from the SC??? That's total crap.

And FWIW, its a good deal for a nice hotel.

Hotel was very well run when it was The Park Plaza Tyrrellstown.

Now that the Carlton have taken it over, its still a lovely hotel obviously but the food has gone waaay downhill. They used to do an amazing lunch deal for a fiver and the A La Carte menu was delicious and excellent value.

Now the menu is pure shyte, like something you'd see in a 3/4* hotel in the 90s. I heard a lot of the management were let go and a lot of the chefs left. Went in there for lunch recently and the place was dead.

As for calling it "Blanchardstown"... pacman.gif

Have to say I was very happy with the hotel. Yes I can imagine if you are on bus it's not ideal location. I had a car so location was fine.
Service good too. It was amazing value so I can't complain
