Pixmania are huge, and the amount of orders they process on a daily basis must be in the thousands. Obviously some of these will have problems, but I would say it's a very low percentage. The biggest problem seems to be that if something goes wrong, it goes drastically wrong. Their after sales service is terrible, and getting any kind of resolution for an order difficulty seems to be very difficult for the customer. This isn't exclusive to Pixmania though, a lot of online retailers have exactly the same problems.

I've ordered from them several times, and never had a problem. The horror stories do make me hold off on recommending them, but I still compare prices there any time I'm looking for something they might sell. I have not been back to Pixmania for a few years though, as I've always ended up buying elsewhere.

I would consider them again, but I'd be wary of what I was buying, the price, and how important it is that absolutely nothing go wrong.

My mother has purchased a few things from them, camera, laptop, memory card and only had trouble with the laptop.

We ended up having to get the CAI involved and after refusing a credit note as a remedy we decided to go via the Small Claims Court as soon as Pixmania heard this, they issued the refund. It took almost 1.5 years to get the refund.

Would we use them again? Yes, but only if the item(s) that I am looking for cannot be gotten anywhere else. It doesn't matter if the item I am looking for is €100 cheaper on Pixmania, I would still not purchase of them as quite frankly, it isn't worth the hassle, in my opinion.
