What do you think of Galway's Best Dressed Lady (left in picture - in red)?
Personally I thought the outfit of the lady in the Best Hat was better (lady on the right, in white)! I thought the red dress was too plain and without the hat she would have looked very unremarkable.

I'd agree. The girl in the cream's outfit was much nicer.

Totally agree, her outfit was cute but definitely not "best dressed lady".

These competitions are ridiculous anyway. The winner from one of the events last year had a coat and hat on - never even opened the coat so no idea what was underneath!! Daft!

It's kind of hard to judge from the photo as she's facing away from the camera and I can't see her entire outfit, including shoes.

EDIT - Just found another photo. Shoes are unremarkable and hat is a bit weird. All in all, it's a nice outfit. Just not spectacular. I should really enter these competitions - can't see how I would lose :)

The cream dress is really nice and I love the belt. I don't understand though why she won Best Hat - it kind of reminds me of a fried egg that fell on top of her head.

I think the cream dress is far more elegant too. Any ideas as to where it was got?

The cream dress is nicer than the red but I don't think either outfit is anything special.

Nothing special about that dress at all!!! The cream dress is lovely though.

I'm thinking it's more about who can wear the most ridiculous hat at this stage!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought so. I think the whole thing is probably a bit of a set up actually because I'm sure there were better dressed ladies there yesterday. Anyway, I hope they enjoy their Anthony Ryan's vouchers. I think I would find it hard to spend €1500 in there!! ;P

Hi, She got the dress from french connection last year and the ribbon was from another dress she had.

    The cream is way nicer!

Honestly, the more I see the winners of these competitions or the stuff that they put on the women who get makeovers on the like of Off The Rails, the more I think some "stylists" are totally just chancing their arms.
