Hi folks, am an avid reader of this forum , this is my first post here.

Am starting to plaster my extention exterior and am tackling the window reveals first , the sides seems to be a doddle but spent an hour trying to get the stuff to stick to the lintel. I get it on and it keeps falling off on me and am getting very frustrated with it, so whats the secret? any special incantations or can you get anti gravity cement:D. any advise would be appreciated, thanks

Get a sponge and dab on dimples of grout the day before. Then carry on as normal.
