certain websitesites wont load properly. eg rte player

    hi, im having problems with certain websites. take for example RTE player. the website itself will load, but when i click on a programme i want to watch, the area where the programme should be playing remains black. happens in internet explorer firefox and chrome. its fine on other laptop we have in the house which uses same connection, i must have disabled some setting or something....
    can anyone help?????

    Try updating Flash player.

    nope not flash player, i was updated, even uninstalled it and reinstalled it with no luck.
    could it be something with norton 360 causing the prob even though other laptop has same anti virus.

    Try right click on the black screen, go to settings and uncheck hardware acceleration

    unchecked it but nothing changed, refreshed the page and nothing only that the box was checked again

    Try it again, but restart the browser instead of reloading the window.

    no use, wont work with ie 8 or 9, missing some add on or something i reckon......;need help.
