I'm in my thirties and while there have been women in my past, for various reasons I've never had a proper, serious relationship. Sure, there have been incidents and accidents, but I want more.

A suggestion has been made of trying dating sites. I've not done it before and I'm wondering what ones people would recommend and how to proceed - scattergun or narrow focus?

These days, I have heard good things about OKCupid.
In the past, I personally, have had a reasonable level of success with Anotherfriend. YMMV.
I hear negative things about PlentyofFish. Again, YMMV.
