    What's saoirse satelllite?

Anything with satellite in its name would require a dish not an aerial I would think?

The RTE digital service you refer to is Saorview. If you currently have a tv aerial to receive RTE1, 2, TV3 AND TG4 then you more than likely will not need a new aerial. Just buy the Saorview receiver and connect the aerial lead to back of box. {this lead is currently connected to back of your tv} and connect scart or hdmi cable to your tv and tune in the box.

The aerial will depend on your location, how far you are from your nearest TV transmitter and the frequency range used at your local TV transmitter.
