Wow, I had forgotten about this series. I used to love it 10+ years ago!! I hadn't heard or seen a thing about it in years! I was surprised to hear it is still going. It would be interesting to see what the viewing figures are like for it these days.

    No way?

Surely, the actors must be sick of it at this stage! Although, money talks!

I'm sure the pay cheques more than make up for any angst.

Fcuking Simpsons, what a load of boll*x.

It used to be a great show, thinking back to old the classics like Flaming Moes, The Nuclear Softball Team, the one where homer catches the big fish on the wedding retreat.... all excellent.

Now the jokes are crap with scaldy celeb appearances and Homer is now a functioning retard in it. No craic.

When the animation got clearer and newer looking that's when i couldn't really watch it anymore, love the old ones and watch them anytime they're on tv.

It's common opinion that it's complete muck these days (and has been for quite a few years).... but I don't believe for a second that you didn't know it was still going! Seriously like, its on everywhere

Family Guy has taken over from the Simpsons which has been running on fumes for the last 10 years due to all the original writers leaving.

The Simpsons of today is definably aimed towards 14-under audience.
Few years ago, it seemed much more mature and the odd adult joke or reference was thrown in (many I didn't get watching as a young'in but get them now). Now it's just meh..

What made the Simpsons a truly great show is that it appealed to all ages, when I was 4 I got plenty of laughs from it while my parents and grandparents also did as well, everyone enjoyed watching it. 15 years on now it's lost that, I almost feel like they're insulting my intelligence with half of the crap they put into it these days.

Family guy on the other hand will always be good, it was a ridiculous show from the start that was funny and it's stayed true to it's form.

Family Guy is great! I don't think it has got stale yet! Another couple of seasons should be ok!
