    Any recommendations on alternatives would be welcome.

    I'm looking for a laptop with a fairly powerful CPU (this one has a quadcore I7) and a decent graphics card. I'm not averse to other brands. I tend to prefer a smaller screen than 15" but I don't seem to be able to get a good processor and graphics card in anything smaller than a 15" (apart from Alienwares which are just a bit too pricey).
