Bed troubles

Hi all. I hope I have this in the right place, I didnt know where else to put it!
I have a bit of a dilemma and im wondering can anyone help. My daughters' bedroom is the smallest room in the house, the boxroom, and it literally is just that. Her bed, a normal sized single, just about fits in but will only fit in one way and that is the base of her bed is up against the built in wardrobes, which leaves about 2 inches to open her drawers. Its a pain in the you know what! The width of her room across is 180ish cms, so I have scoured the internet looking for a single bed that is about 170cm in length but I have had no luck.
The only beds I can find are the baby beds which are too small, so im wondering would anyone know where I could find a single bed that is smaller in length then the general single beds! I dont mind having it custom made, but dont know where to look!

    Thanks in advance.
    Fiona

In a previous house we had a really small box room & had a carpenter build a ship's cabin type bed with storage underneath. Got a mattress made by a local bed manufacturer in Cork. Worked a treat.

you could get a special size divan made. there are shops that will do it. its not too extortionate either.
