I'm not sure if this is the right spot or not but here go..

Note: I'm just looking for advice, not an offer.

So my friends and I are all students and we're looking to rent a house somewhere for a weekend. Haven't decided on a specific location or anything so I'm just wondering if anyone has any website suggestions or experience with a similar situation? :)

My first suggestion would be don't tell the people you're renting from that you're students.

"Student weekend in a rented house? Hmmmmm....... Sorry no."

Don't look for normal houses, look for holiday lets/ holiday cottages. If you go for cottages, you may need 2 or 3, depending on how many of you there are, but there are often places where there are several nestled around a courtyard.

    Don't mention you're students, anyway.
