but i never put in my passport number? does this matter?

    * to change flight dates = 100 euro

to get new flight 50 euro..

You put your passport no. in when you're checking in online. Not when you book.

Have you tried to contact them?

Don't think you need to put in your passport number unless you are a regular flyer with them and are a registered member flying with them. Once you got your confirmation email you should be ok, that's what's important like.
I suggest ring the customer service helpline they might help if you can't seem to manage your booking online. I know with Aerlingus is very good to allow you to update or make changes to your booking. Talk about a rip off to pay that much to make adjustments like that with Ryanair.

Its probably not necessary until you are checking in online but its the confirmation booking number is what will be important here.

You put in your passport number when you check-in online, which you can do up to 15 days before the day of your flight!

I've heard of people looking to change names on bookings, but Ryanair charge an extortionate fee to do so, so they just booked a brand new flight with the new name at a fraction of the cost!

The €100 cost is there to stop people/travel agents booking cheap flights during the sale and then selling them on at a higher price closer to the time.
