    I just got an extra 8GB (2x4) from www.crucial.com/eu and it came this morning (ordered on friday). Have 12GB now... yours for ~ €55 inc. vat and free delivery

    Also on apple site its says my mac can be upgrade to 8 gigs can i upgrade more than 8 gigs?

    I'd imagine you could. I've 16 gb running in a 2009 iMac with no problems. Best bet is to google your model and see if others have similar systems running that amount of ram. I'm fairly sure though you won't have a problem, Apple usually understate the amount of ram a system will take.

    By the way if you do buy on amazon make sure that you get the right ram, that ram you linked to looks to be Pc ram and afaik iMacs take sodimm's ( laptop ram ) so be 100% sure before you take the splurge. As said above crucial let you pick you'd system out so if it's wrong you won't have any problem sending it back :)
