I remember seeing a thread similar to this a few years ago when i first joined and started and found it very helpful!

So now the footie is about to start there is a lot of newbies around Ireland getting into the foreign sat scene after ditching murdochs lot...

And a lot attracted by Viasat which is hard to recieve...

So I have a 1metre motorized dish with Black Inverto Lnb, Im located in North Kerry...

I can receive 42,39,28,23,19,16,13,10,9,7,5 {no nordic beams } all east.. 0.8,5,8,12.5,15,30 all west..

I can't get a squeek of Viasat with mine anyways, although i can get the Nordic Beams on 0.8west!

So hopefully ye can share ye're set ups and what ye can receive and ye're location to provide a guide!

Good idea for a thread, I get 5W,1W,7E,13E,19E & 28E from a fixed multi LNB setup on a 80cm dish focused on 13E here in central Scotland.:)

Here's my setup In Limerick city on Triax TD88
I get 9e/10e,13e,16e,19.2e,23.5e and 28.2e.....
Get great signals on all birds apart from some weak TPs on 23.5 and of course rain attenuation is a killer on 16e
I pull in 16e @ 54% but in rain it does get wiped out, hopefully the new bird due at that position soon will give me even better reception

Here's my setup In Ballinasloe, Co Galway on Triax TD88
I get 9e,13e,16e,19.2e,23.5e and 28.2e.
Get great signals on all birds apart from some weak TPs on 16e.
16e varies from 50% to 80%. {get 99% on sic} No rain problems with the Main channels. (In my case tring} {so far}

Apparently if you draw a line on map of Ireland from Cork City to Sligo Town, anything east of that line should have less problems with 16e.

While i am at, big thanks to Banie01 for his earlier posts in getting the above setup. I had the gear in the shed and your posts inspired me to set it up.

I was getting 30% on two V tp's on Nordic beam but gone now.
