Hapless blonde crashes her £250,000 Bentley into a Merc, Porsche, Ferrari and Aston Martin

It was a line-up of the finest supercars in one of the world's wealthiest hotspots.
But what started as a parade of high-priced horsepower turned into an impromptu game of demolition derby - when a hapless blonde scraped her £250,000 Bentley Azure down the side of a £75,000 Mercedes S Class.
What followed in the Monte Carlo's Place du Casino was every insurance company's nightmare.
Her 2.7 tonne beast then crashed into a £140,000 black Ferrari F430, before going head on into an £80,000 Porsche 911 and a £140,000 Aston Martin Rapide.
The driver, and her two passengers, then had the humiliation of watching hundreds of tourists circle the scene as they were unable to open the doors of the British-built convertible.
It is estimated the crash will cost more than £40,000 with the Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin requiring new front wings and bumpers. The Bentley will need the same repairs, plus a new door.Ruud Poot, editor of European motoring website Autogespot, said: 'You probably couldn't find a worse place in the world to crash your car than outside Monaco's Place du Casino in the middle of the summer.'
A staggering £685,000 worth of cars were shunted in a matter of minutes - enough to make the Top Gear boys wince in pain and criticise who caused the incident.
But with recent research suggesting women drivers are more likely to be involved in an accident, they could be forgiven for adhering to the stereotypical view.

Just because you can afford it,
doesn't mean you can drive it.

She was swerving to avoid him. ;)

Or more likely given the car/location, swerving so her good side would be caught on camera

Or you know, seeing as it's a convertible..they could have just got out over the doors. :)

Reminds me of the guy in Dubai who bought his 19 year old son a Lambo for his birthday.
Very first spin in it,he wrote both the car and himself off!!

    this comment rules:
She is a French woman, she is beautiful, rich and loves life. They are just cars. French admire women not like English people. Show a similar woman like that in England? It is impossible. There are no women like that in England

"just cars" - I'd say Jerome drives an 80 something reg Citroen AX that has been shortened 3 inches each side from French parking/shunting...

Well I'll be noting the reg number plates in case I'm in the 2nd market for one of these. You just can't trust cartell if they decide to go outside the insurance and have a local lad respray.

    :)

No matter what way you look at it, that's a small accident. A 40k insurance claim here isn't news, much less for someone who can afford a 250k car. It's a good story for redtop reading rubberneckers, for the people involved it's no more than a minor inconvenience.:)

Jerome still isn't the sort of character I'd like parking near my car, banger and all as it is. I'd say he thinks cars are meant to have big gouges and dings in them. Shur parking is a contact sport ;)

I know what you mean though - there's no one there gonna have to cancel the holiday next year because of the insurance hike due to a claim...
