    Has it happened to you? Have you just been walking down the street and had something taken from you, or put your bag down for a second in a shop and for it to be gone?

    Happened to me today. :( Shop street in Galway, someone took my bag with my iPod in it. Put it down for one second in the shop to try on a pair of shoes, and next thing it's gone and the shop have no cameras so it can't even be seen who took it. Very annoyed about it.

    Has this happened to anyone else? What's the most that's been stolen from you when you were just out and about?

    Another thread on this subject here but since you ask ,a bag full of cd's and my wallet disappeared from a pub I was in .My jacket with wallet inside was hanging up on a rail with bag underneath at the time .Lesson learned

    I was with a friend of mine in Florence when it happened to him. Granted, it was down a side street, in the middle of a dodgy drug deal,and we were both hammered, but he got his wallet swiped, just after he paid for his drugs.
    Silly boy!

    Also, a friend got her bag robbed from between her legs whilst she was kissing a guy. She had her back against a wall at the time.

    Got my wallet stolen with a decent amount of cash in it once, plus all my cards.
