Any thoughts on where our players will be playing for the new season?
Lots of speculation surrounding some of our players like Keane, Long, Kelly, McCarthy, as well as peripheral squad players like Gibson etc.

Not quite big news compared to the likes of Long, but Padraig Amond is on trial with Sheffield Wednesday.

Gary Megson isn't keeping him at Wednesday unfortunately, looks like its back to Pacos where he has 2 years left on his contract afaik.

Didn't he do reasonably well in Portugal?

Surely the big one has to be where Robbie Keane will end up. He's been linked with Fulham and West Brom over the summer.

That's a shame. He seems to be enjoying it over in Portugal though judging by his Twitter. Hopefully he can get more starts this season.

I think he was always used as a substitute. Although his team did get to to the cup final IIRC.

Transfer rumours yesterday that Spurs are in for a Roma player and trying to use Keane and a couple of other players as bargaining tools.

Liverpool apparently now looking at James McCarthy after contract talks broke down. Can't see him at Liverpool with all the players they just bought though.

Joey O'Brien has joined West Ham. Interesting to see if Allardyce can kick start his career. A shame if he is added to the list of Irish players ruined by injury.

Could have sworn I read last year that he was told he would be first team for Pacos this season as they were in need to sell their other players.

Leicester City to move for Robbie Keane according to some reports. Can't wait to hear about his boyhood ambitions to play for his beloved Foxes.

Think Keane gets too much stick over those comments. Afterall, he only said them about Celtic and Liverpool and it's fairly common for Irish kids to support Liverpool/Man Utd plus Celtic.

I think he'd be selling himself short by moving to the championship already.

Brian Murphy move to QPR confirmed the other day.

Can't see him getting much game time unfortunately.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Keane linked to Wolves now - http://www.eatsleepsport.com/wolverhampton/wolves-linked-with-spurs-ace-1258414.html

Would be great to see himself and Doyle linking up a club level.

Be a good move for him still capable of playing at premiership level.

He wouldn't get in the team ahead of Fletcher though, he'd be a good cover player for when Doyle is injured.
