I'm looking to get some cheap shoes, size 10.5, if anyone has some spares they're looking to get rid of. The plan is to get the reversible pedals (A530 or M324 maybe).

I'm only getting started (hybrid bike), so I really don't want to spend much in case I don't take to it.

Just changed over to look Shimano MT 22 shoes size 45 and pdm 324 pedals will sell for e50 for both (including cleats).

Hi Clog, thanks for the offer. I hear that Shimano are small-fitting shoes, so those 45s would be unlikely to fit me. In any case, I think I prefer the 'roadier' shoes, like the DHB M1s you had for sale on another thread (so let me know if they're still for sale!). I probably should have mentioned that in my original post.

Also, someone advised me to buy new pedals because they come with cleats and because the bearings can wear down easily.

    Thanks again for getting back.

The shimanos can be a bit small for the size alright.
The sale of the dhb m1's is pending, but I would reccommend them from wiggle as the best new shoe for the price (the sizes are spot on too).

Thanks 32yg. To be honest, I was hoping to get away for a bit less than that (€55 in my size), but if nothing comes along I'll keep it in mind. Cheers for the info.
