does anyone know if insurance co's always issue a copy of no claims bonus at
renewal time, or must it be requested.

i know i could just ring them but i hate that automated dribble; "press 1 if you like eggs." "press 2 if you know the japanese for itchy toe" " i'm sorry"............

In my experience some companies sent them with the renewal form - FBD, Zurich do this
Others, you have to request it, Quinn is a culprit here. They kept me waiting for weeks for proof of NCB as I wasn't renewing with them.

Just call and ask, it might be frustrating dealing with the auto answer yokes but you'll get a definite answer from them.

You don't have to ask for it: motor insurance companies are required to send it out with renewal notice. One thing Mary Harney did right in government.
