Need to get something in the kitchen, but don't want to get off the couch? Back in the good old days you could have programmed a small Mars rover to rumble off into the kitchen where an obliging human would put it on your rover before it turns around and trundles back out to you along its preprogramed path. But now it's the future and we've advanced and we have… actually, you know what? It's been like 20 years, and for all our leaps and bounds in medicine, science, and electronic gizmos, we still haven't advanced all THAT far when it comes to Mars-roveresque toys which can be automated to bring you crap. You can set these up with little routes around your house, take it on an adventure through your garden, or use it to help create your very own Rube Goldberg machine!

    :)
