Jailbreaking won't allow you to use a 3 sim in it. If the firmware on the phone is 4.1 or higher you can't unlock it unless vodafone request it from apple

OK I have my new iPhone for the last 3 months (JB), my wife has hers for nearly 2 (nonJB). I compare the two phones all the time. My phone can do so much more, i'm using the phones full potential. I like to stream from my fone to my tv change its HD theme, customize it, listen to internet radio, play games, produce music and take loads of pictures.
A nonJB fone can do MOST OF this to but u'll pay good for it. U CAN ALWAYS READ THE PAPERS DOH!!
BY THE WAY WE ARE ON 3

Ring them up and ask. They will have certain criteria that you have to meet but there won't be a problem if you meet it
