I have a Macbook PRO where the superdrive went so i bought a new superdrive to fit.
Now that one went and i didnt really want to fork out for another.
So i came up with a cheap hack.
I have a computer with 2 DVD Drives, neither of which are used much, i took one out.
I got the cheap External 3.5" HD Enclosure i got for cheap of ebay and i connected it to the DVD Drive.
I then connected that to the Laptop and voila!, an external DVD Drive for me to use. Very Handy as you can leave it in one place powered up, then leave the usb and connect it to whichever device needs a DVD Drive at the time.
Its also good for the fact thats there two Netbooks without dvd drives in the house.
    :D
