    hi all, just trying to find out where i could get my hands on "ROHDE" condenser for broadcasting. we are currently in the process of trying to get a community radio station off the ground. if anyone has any info or advice, please feel free. thanks all "JPH"

    Does it have to be a Rhode?
    Behringer do a couple of decently priced condenser mics. Try BTS in Bluebell.
    Personally speaking, I hate the sound of the Rhode Broadcaster mic. Also, don't restrict yourself to a condenser mic.
    Where's the station?

    thanks folks. will try music prod forum also.im not stuck on the rohdes, but that was the one recommended to me......

    Its spelled RODE.

    And the Broadcaster is not a good mic. Most of the RODEs are not great - they are cheapo condenser mics, which is never a good thing to be.

    A good, reasonable condenser is the Audio Technica AT-2035, a decent dynamic mic (my preferred choice for radio studios) is the Heil PR-40, the Beyer M201 or the Shure SM-7B.
